oil octupus

A way for me to explain this poster and the point it is trying to convey, is to make sure you know about the BP oil spill in April of 2010. BP's Deepwater Horizon well exploded. This spill sent oil gushing for 3 months, into the Gulf of Mexico. This of course, quickly spread to many main coastlines of the U.S. This poster shows how huge the spill really was by comparing a giant octopus covered in oil to the size of the coast.
This article is a way to show how the oil spill caused by B.P. has affected the world. We as humans, around the entire world, not just in the U.S use massive amounts of Fossil fuels. As a result we have catastrophes like this oil spill happen. There recently have been tests done on people all over the U.S. that show we now have fourin toxins in our bodies, linked to this oil spill. To me this article is a way to think about how much of a universal problem this has become.

I greatly agree with this because we as a whole have developed a physical need for technology. Everyone would be so lost if the energy grid failed it is pathetic.

I also agree with this because technology is a great ditraction and can at times be life-threatening.
